fun facts, awards & accolades, and just a little bit of BRAGGING RIGHTS…
Launching l² productions
I think I’ll let my LinkedIn post do most of the talking here…but yes, I quit my job, started pursuing my true passions, and unabashedly told the world all about it. And I’d do it all again. Every. Single. Time.
Edited & Produced By…
I added video editing to my growing skill set soon after the great departure from my advertising career (see above). After various YouTube tutorials, hours of trying and failing, and trying and failing…and trying and failing…you get it…*I* finally got it.
Maya Jones, Parker Saiia, Andrew Thompson, and of course, yours truly are the producers of Jonesin’ for the W, a new talkshow centered around all things WNBA. Officially meet the team (and check out my first video edit ever) below:
LL’s Lip Sync Battles
As the infamous question goes, “What’s one fun fact about yourself?”…well, you can probably guess my answer. Since the summer of 2021, I have been planning, producing, and hosting my own version of a Lip Sync Battle. What once started as my quirky birthday party theme, now lives on as an annual party event held right here in Brooklyn, NY. And yes, I can send you an invite.
THE MOST PROMISING MULTICULTURAL STUDENT
Hi, yes that’s me. During this annual event in NYC, the nation’s top ad agencies, advertisers, and media companies meet with the nation’s top multicultural college seniors thanks to the American Advertising Federation. Fortunately, 2018 was my lucky (read: earned & deserved) year, and yes I still have the shirt and award to show for it.
Ad Team ACCOLADES
Once upon a time, I was a first-place, national champion. Properly referred to ad nerds as “n-sac”, but officially known as the National Student Advertising Competition (NSAC). A creative, a strategist, a presenter—I did it all. And it paid off, because we won it all.
