Power within reach

Power within reach sermon & short film

  • Introduce the unique, faith-based HIV work of Gilead Sciences’ partner: the Wake Forest University School of Divinity

  • Faith plays an important role in Southern communities—and sermons are what bring them together

The power of the sermon has transformed individuals, communities, even the world . . .

What if we make a new sermon—one with educated preachers of the present—and take it beyond church walls, into the community?

  • we partnered with real faith leaders, across religious denominations, to co-write a sermon that preaches for the need of love acceptance for the HIV community

This campaign won silver + bronze Clio health awards for Disease Awareness & Advocacy

Welcome to WAKE FOREST university

  • We amplified this innovative work online by creating two interview-style stories with the Wake Forest University School of Divinity & program grantee, Morris Singletary

  • The interview-style videos were shot under 2021 covid restrictions—a.k.a. remote shoots over zoom

Despite the distance, these stories were beautifully captured due to our team’s diligence and our talent’s flexibility
